Welcome.

This is a home for the in-between — for the seasons of unraveling, awakening, and becoming that ask us to shed old stories and step gently into our truth.

I write for the ones walking through a dark night of the soul, for the seekers who feel both the ache and the pull toward something more whole. Here, we learn to meet our shadows with compassion, forgive what was never ours to carry, and trust that every ending holds a seed of beginning.

Longing & Light is part essay collection, part advice column — a space where psychology, spirituality, and storytelling intertwine. Some days I’ll write letters responding to reader questions about healing, shame, purpose, and forgiveness. Other days I’ll share reflections, prompts, or practices that help you find light in your own depths.

With love,

About the Author:

I’m a positive psychologist with a master’s degree in Positive Organizational Psychology and Program Evaluation, but more than that, I’m a human being who has walked through her own seasons of unraveling and rebirth. My work is grounded in both research and experience — the science of resilience and meaning-making, and the lived reality of learning how to stand in the dark and still trust the dawn.

Over the years, I’ve become fascinated by what happens when everything falls apart — when old identities collapse, and the life we thought we were building no longer fits. Those times, painful as they are, hold enormous potential for growth and transformation. Through Longing & Light, I write about that space: the liminal in-between, where longing becomes a lantern.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers. What I offer are reflections, stories, and practices drawn from my own dark nights of the soul — the things that helped me begin to find light again, not outside myself, but within. My hope is that my writing helps you do the same: to meet yourself with gentleness, to reclaim your power, and to remember that even in the deepest shadow, something sacred is still unfolding.
